Research Analytical Laboratory ICP-3560

The ARL 3560 was installed in 1988, and is used for the majority of our work. This instrument is configured to provide simultaneous determination of up to 27 elements (listed below). The specific suite of elements reported depends on the calibration standards used, which are formulated to match the matrix and typical elements of interest for common samples.

Following is some of the machine-specific information for the ARL 3560:

*Reporting Limits are based on the concept of the Lowest Quantitatively Determinable Concentration (LQDC). Precision at the LQDC is approximately +/- 10% and the analytical results are quantitative.

Please note that these limits are for concentrations in the solution measured by the ICP. If dilution factors have been used to report results on a in-sample basis, those dilution factors must also be applied to these reporting limits.
